As part of social advertising, Ford has designed a jacket to help cyclists navigate city roads more safely.
The peculiarity of the jacket is in the LED panel on the back, where you can bring the emoji to “get a better understanding” with the drivers of the cars. First of all, the screen on the jacket is intended to replace gestures, for example, when the cyclist shows with his hands that he wants to fold or rebuild.
According to Ford representatives, many cyclists do not cope with this, fall and get into an accident. Now it is enough to push the button on the steering wheel, and the emoji on the jacket will show where he wants to fold the person.
Ford has prepared just one sample of the jacket and is not about to launch it in series production. The main message of the company is to show “how to relieve tension” between cyclists and motorists.
