ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FIGHT AGAINST SMOKING AT THE GAS STATION

The Shell company with the support of Microsoft developed a system to help avoid smoking in gas stations.

At the gas station will be installed surveillance cameras, which with artificial intelligence will record burning cigarettes and turn on the alarm system.

Every time a refueling cigarette is lit, built-in artificial intelligence takes a shot and loads it into a cloud where more reliable artificial intelligence determines whether anxiety should be signaled.

As The Next Web notes, “this is a sophisticated solution to a problem that should not exist.” Currently, the pilot program works on two Shell stations, in Singapore and in Thailand.
