Ukrainians Sergiy and Anna, who emigrated from Lviv to Canada’s Halifax, developed a mobile game to promote the city.

A game called “Hali Drive” lets players navigate Halifax’s virtual streets or ponds and collect points that reveal a variety of interesting facts about the city.

According to the developers, the game is intended to be fun and informative and “unprecedented way to promote Halifax”. As the game is designed for immigrants, tourists and students from different countries, it is available in ten languages, including English, French and Russian.

Halifax is the capital of the province of Nova Scotia, with about half a million inhabitants.
