The founders of the Ukrainian music festival Respublica decided to move the event to the game Minecraft.
In the game, they rebuild the locations of the festival – the castle, its surroundings, stages, and dressing rooms – to “fully immerse” in the atmosphere of the event. Due to quarantine restrictions, this year’s Respublica festival is implemented in two formats: online and in Minecraft, where the main locations of the festival will be “built”.
Now anyone can get to the festival – just download the game and join the server. The festival will be possible not only to watch online but also to interact with the surrounding space with the help of your own volunteer guide in real-time. It will become a kind of personalized avatar, which the user will control by voice.
