UKRAINE’S SELF-INSULATION WILL BE FOLLOWED BY MOBILE OPERATORS

Police can begin to control the movement of Ukrainians who have pledged to be in isolation.

Ukrainians who returned home and crossed the border signed a personal pledge to remain in isolation for 14 days. Due to the fact that some have breached this obligation, the police can now begin to track their movements through mobile carriers.

Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko said police had already begun to receive automated data from border guards on the tens of thousands of Ukrainians who had signed such commitments.

“Tens of thousands of police and police patrols are beginning to massively monitor quarantine conditions,” – Gerashchenko said.
