Analyst firm OpenSignal presented the results of investigation of mobile networks in different countries. Data were collected from more than 800,000 users worldwide.

Global leader in mobile internet speed has become South Korea, where the connection speed is 41 Mbit / s. Second place goes to Singapore from 31 Mbit / s. Hungary closes top three with the rate 26 Mbit / s. But Ukraine is in a low place with 67 connection speed 5.78 Mbit / s.

Note that these figures are the result of calculating the average rate available, not the theoretical maximum.
OpenSignal Researchers also considered the amount of time that people spend in 3G / 4G-networks and identified the countries with the best coverage.

Topping the list of South Korea, where people spend 98.54% of the time in 3G / 4G-networks.
Ukraine is in this list is on the penultimate place among all countries with available 3G / 4G – only 44.81% of the territory.
