President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has extended the ban on Russian Internet resources, including the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, for three years.

The President put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of May 14 “On the application, abolition, and amendment of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions).” The National Security and Defense Council said it supported the proposal to extend the ban on Russian resources, including Mail.ru, VKontakte, and Odnoklassniki.

It will be recalled that since May 17, 2017, access to the Russian social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, as well as Yandex services and a number of other Russian resources have been blocked in Ukraine.
