TEACHERS CREATED A SENSOR FOR VISION REGAIN

46

Restoration of lost vision today is not something new. Surgeons practice eye transplants, but patients have to wait a long time until the appropriate organs appear, and not everyone can afford such an operation. A solution to the problem could be the new invention of researchers from the University of Rhys. A device called FlatScope not only can restore lost vision, but also in the long run, restore other sensory abnormalities due to the cerebral implant.

FlatScope is a flat microscope that is placed in the brain, where controls and triggers fluorescence modified neurons when they are active. The device was developed within the framework of the US Department of Defense promising research project known as DARPA to create a neural interface through various sensors that transmit audio-visual data directly to the brain, allowing you to restore any missing feelings.
