Samsung announced Galaxy Tab Iris tablet outlet with built-in iris scanner to identify the user.
The scanner is located at the rear of the housing. Rather, it uses the Iris on the Move identification technology (IOM), WHICH WAS presented in 2015. This solution is able to provide 1000 times higher accuracy compared with the fingerprint sensor.
Galaxy Tab Iris – this tablet is equipped with 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. 4-core processor is responsible for the performance and clocked at 1.2 GHz and 1.5 GB of RAM. Flash storage device has a capacity of 8 GB. Moreover model has a 5-megapixel main camera and the ability to install SIM-card with support for 2G and 3G networks.

According to the company plan, the new product will be in demand in a variety of financial institutions, the business sector, as well as e-government structures, where high precision is required user authentication.
