SCIENTISTS REPLACE BUTTER FAT WITH INSECT FAT

Belgian scientists at the University of Ghent have learned how to replace butter with fats extracted from insects.

Scientists say that insect-based fat is a healthier meal. They conducted a study and suggested that people try baking and waffles made using “grease”.

“People could not tell the difference from the usual dishes made with ordinary oil, neither in texture nor in color nor in taste” – say the scientists.

According to Belgian scientists, “insect fat” is easily absorbed by the human body, has antibacterial and antimicrobial effects, can neutralize germs, bacteria and fungi in the human body.
