China’s Elephant Robotics engineers have created a MarsCat robot.

The mechanism has 16 motorized joints. A cat can move around the home of his master, as well as displaying six emotions: indifference, enthusiasm, energy, laziness, shyness and a desire to communicate.

A robot cat can not only walk. It also plays with the ball, responds quickly to human movements. The robot has a camera, speaker, microphone, a Raspberry Pi microprocessor and six touch sensors.

Depending on the manner of communication, the cat’s personality may change.
