POKEMON GO LAUNCHES CLOUD SERVICE
The Pokemon Company is launching a Pokemon Home cloud service that will allow players to store their Pokémon online and transfer them between different parts of the series they own.
Users will also be able to trade with other players on the Nintendo Switch or in the iOS and Android mobile app. Pokemon Home will only support Pokemon Sword, Shield, and Let’s Go dialogs, but it will also be able to connect to a Pokemon Bank service that stores Pokémon from 3DS games.
The service itself is free, but a premium plan subscription will be available for fans who want additional features such as contacting Pokemon Bank. Premium subscribers will be able to store up to 6000 Pokémon (unlike the standard 30), trade 10 Pokémon at once, trade in Room Trades, etc.
The Switch version of the premium plan costs £ 2.69 per month.
