Recently, for Telegram, an update to version 5.7 was introduced, which added new privacy settings, discussion for channels, and more.

With the update 5.8, there was a simplified exchange of contacts. For example, new chats have a “Add Contact” button, which allows you to add people to the chat even without a phone number.

Also appeared the “Find People Nearby” feature. Open Contacts -> Add People Nearby. This way, you can exchange contacts with several people, without business cards and handwritten notes. You can also create group chats from people, who are nearby.
