Representatives of Amazon said that devices equipped with personal assistant named Alexa received an update, thanks to which a new mode of operation Away Mode appeared.

When some of people leave their home for a long time, they turn on TV, radio, or light to create a presence effect, and potential robbers have gone their home. Amazon has offered a new way to scare away thieves.

With the new Away Mode feature, smart speakers can play long-term conversations with multiple people, thereby scaring potential robbers.

Only 7 long-term entries in English are available at this time. They were taken from various television shows and series, such as Saturday Night Live, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and UCB. Duration of each recording is about an hour.
