In the middle of July Microsoft announced to its users that it ceased to support the Seventh Classic version of the Skype Messenger by September 1, replacing it with the more modern, advanced, and convenient Skype eighth version.

However, due to the user’s indignation over such an upgrade, the company has decided to leave the old version of Skype available for a while. How long will the outdated and favorite version of Skype users have not been reported to Microsoft.

The new bright design has moved from the mobile version for Android and iOS. The critique was subjected to a redesigned interface, which users simply found unsuccessful. Also, some convenient features disappeared on the desktop of Skype 8, for example, the grouping of windows with chats instead of correspondence with each contact in a separate window.
