The US Federal Aviation Administration has banned the carriage of some Apple MacBook Pro laptops.

This happened after the company recalled these devices because their batteries might be prone to overheating and burning. Early Apple announced the recall of a number of early-generation Macbook Pro laptops due to battery issues.

As it was mentioned in the official press release of the company at the time, the devices were mainly sold from September 2015 to February 2017. “These devices have batteries that can overheat, creating a security risk,” Apple said in a statement.
