IN PACIFIC OCEAN WILL BUILD A SKYSCRAPER FOR A TRASH CLEANING PROCESSING
American designer Honglin Lee has designed a skyscraper waste recycling station project.
He proposes to build a skyscraper in the middle of the Pacific Garbage Spot, which is located in the northern Pacific Ocean. Dense arrays of plastic and other wastes are concentrated here. The plain occupies more than 8% of the ocean floor and in size exceeds the territory of Ukraine. The layer of garbage on average is 30 meters.
The tower will pump dirty waste water and produce filtered water and sorted garbage. The circulation will be due to the energy of the tide.
