IN JAPAN WAS LAUNCED SELFDRIVEN BUS
Sotetsu Bus launches Japan’s first selfdriven bus.
Until October 14, it will ride in test mode, and anyone can ride it for free. So far, the bus route is short, its length is 900 meters, and the maximum speed is limited to around 20 kilometers per hour.
According to the company plan, it should make 16 trips a day between 10am and 4pm when there are not many cars on the roads. During the test period, an employee of the company will sit in the driver’s cab, he or she will take control if there is a risk of security breach.
