Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelian stated about the construction of a Hyperloop testing site on the territory of Ukraine.

The test site of Hyperloop high-speed vacuum trains will open in Ukraine next year, and the actual operating area will be in 5 years. “We hoped that the test site will appear much earlier – next year. This is our inner deadline. About the appearance of a real plot, then 5 years is a term that can be realistically said,” said Omelian.

The Minister also noted that, according to the estimates of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, the Hyperloop line from Odessa to Kiev would cost 5.5 billion dollars. The cost of one kilometer – 11 million dollars.
