At the CES 2020 Electronics Show, Honda is set to present a futuristic Augmented Driving Concept with a high level of autonomy.

The car will have a new autopilot with eight levels of intervention in the driving process. According to the company, this car is part of an extended driving concept which means that it can complement the driving experience and give the driver “freedom” and “thrill.”

A set of sensors will constantly monitor the behavior of the user, anticipating his intentions and intuitively selecting the desired mode from the set. Such cars will be driven by a single all-in-one steering wheel for a “smooth transition from autonomous to semi-autonomous driving”.
