The American company Google has decided to rename the “blacklist” and “white list” in the fight against racism.

The phrases blacklist and whitelist will be removed from the product code of the Chromium project, which includes the Chrome browser. Phrases will be replaced by “more inclusive terms”: blocklist and allow list.

According to the initiators, the renaming will not bring any functional changes in the work of the project and the browser. A total of more than two thousand links to the word “blacklist” must be replaced after changing the code.
