GOOGLE CREATED DODLE DEDICATED TO SCOTLAND CHEMICAL
On October 2, Google released a doodle dedicated to a well-known Scottish chemist.
William Ramsay received the Nobel Prize in 1904. He discovered such chemical elements as xenon, helium, krypton, argon and neon. Today is 167 years since his birth.
William Ramsay was born in a small town near Glasgow and was going to become a priest, but in the last years of the university he became interested in the natural sciences. He later told us that nature surrounds us with riddles and attempts to solve them are the greatest joy in his life.
