Google want to launch a version of its censorship search in China.

Censorship restrictions will apply to the blacklist of sites and certain topics related to personal rights, democracy, religion and peaceful protests.

The project has received the codename Dragonfly and has been developing since spring of last year. But the development of the project has been accelerating since December 2017, after the meeting between Google Chairman Sundar Pichai and the Chinese authorities.

Also, as part of this project, Google engineers have developed an Android application in the versions of Maotai and Longfei. The Chinese authorities have already read the annex. Its final version can be launched in six months, depending on the speed of obtaining approval from officials.
