Google Chrome has announced the introduction of a new tab grouping feature.

The new update offers a solution to the problem when many pages are open in the browser at the same time. The tab grouping function was tested for several months.

The feature is currently only available in the browser beta but will be automatically installed with an update next week.

This is the first time Google Chrome has implemented its own grouping of web pages: previously it could only be done with third-party extensions.
