FACEBOOK WILL DEMONSTRATE OLD MEMORABLE POSTS FOR A MONTH OR SEASON
In addition to the recent update to the newsline, Facebook has announced new features for mobile devices that will complement the “This Day” feature. In the social networking blog, a new feature is described as “an even easier way to dive into memories.”
“This day” is a similar analogue of the Timehop program, which shows the events that took place on that day, but a year earlier. Now, users will observe “memories” from the past directly in the news feed. They will be sorted by groups depending on the month and season. For example, you can see “last year’s memories” or “summer memories.”
Facebook has also developed a filter that will hide events from the past that can cause negative emotions.
Also, there will be cards with significant events that occurred within the social network. For example, a thousandth of a lyike or a hundredth friend.
Facebook is gradually introducing new features, so they may not appear on your tape right away.
