The Facebook social network launches its own information center to disseminate reliable information about the COVID-19 coronavirus situation.

The information center will be located directly on the social network and company will collect information from sources such as national health services and WHO. The Infocenter will be deployed in several locations in the US and some European countries over the next 24 hours, and in a few days it will become global.

“We will place it at the top of all Facebook news feeds,” said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The Information Center will include active links to global health authorities, as well as curatorial communications from celebrities, politicians and journalists to disseminate proven useful health information to the widest possible audience.
