The Commission for the Recognition of Sports has included e-sports in the official sports of Ukraine.

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov said that after the recognition, e-sports becomes part of the Ukrainian economy.

“After all, holding competitions, developing infrastructure and developing games can significantly replenish the country’s budget and open up new opportunities and prospects,” he wrote.
