CREW DRAGON SPACE SHUTTLE DOCKED WITH ISS
Elon Mask’s SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft docked with the International Space Station.
Launched yesterday, the Crew Dragon spacecraft with the crew of the first manned mission SpaceX Demo-2 after a 19-hour flight successfully docked with the ISS. The docking itself took place in automatic mode, but the final stage of convergence took place in manual mode.
For maneuvering in space, Crew Dragon is equipped with 16 Draco engines that run on a mixture of monomethylhydrazine and nitrogen tetraoxide. After normalization of pressure and temperature, approximately two hours after docking, the ISS crew will be able to open the gateway, or rather, two gateways (at the station and on the ship), and let colleagues into the station.
