In Mykolaiv to help the citizens on quarantine, law enforcement officers launched a chatbot in Telegram to counter domestic violence.

In order to allow citizens to quickly receive support and assistance in quarantine conditions when there are restrictions on personal receptions, the staff of the Office of Preventive Activities of GNUNP in the Mykolayiv Oblast launched a chat-stop “Stop Violence” in the Telegram application.

Recently, the number of domestic violence cases in the city has increased significantly because people are forced to stay at home for a long time. Within two weeks of the quarantine, police officers of the Mykolaiv region drafted 148 protocols for committing domestic violence and issued nine urgent restraining orders.
