CANADA CONVERTS PLASTIC IN FUEL
In Canada invented how to convert disposable plastic products into diesel and gasoline.
The new technology is being used at the Sparta Group plant in Whitby, Toronto. For example, five tons of plastic can be converted to 4,000 liters of fuel, which in turn can move 10 cars in 16 hours.
According to the president of the company, John Obirek, so-called “pyrolysis” is used for plastic processing, the process of heating in the absence of oxygen, which results in the formation of special gas. It is distilled and converted into a liquid state.
Obirek added that his goal is to encourage municipalities to use this technology to recycle disposable plastic.
