BLACKBERRY stops release smartphone with a QWERTY-keyboard

BlackBerry announced the suspension of further release of smartphones on 28 September, but the company has no plans to completely withdraw from the market. Partners will be engaged the development and release of new devices.

In connection with these news, it was reported that the developers have refused usual branded smartphones with QWERTY-keyboard. BlackBerry Director General John Chen announced the release of a new device with a new keyboard.

Meanwhile, the company is preparing to introduce a model DTEK60, which does not receive QWERTY-keyboard, but can boast the top-end features, including 21-megapixel camera, Snapdragon processor 820 and 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.
