ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL ENDED BETHOVEN SYMPHONY
Scientists and musicians, with the help of artificial intelligence, will attempt to add the unfinished tenth symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven to the composer’s 250th anniversary.
A team of composers, musicians, scientists and IT professionals is working on the project. Initially, the neural network analyzed all of Beethoven’s works. Then artificial intelligence was given fragments of the tenth symphony so that he could finish the piece of music. The final version of the song should be submitted on April 28, 2020 in the German city of Bonn.
Beethoven began working on Symphony No. 10 at the same time as Symphony No. 9. The composer did not finish that. A team of musicians and scholars have noted that the continuation of the work from artificial intelligence will not affect Beethoven’s heritage, since the completed composition is not credited to the composer’s creative achievements.
