Apple has developed a new patent – smart clothing with integrated sensors woven into the fabric.

Apple has filed for a patent describing a soft stretch strip provided with sensors for health monitoring. The gadget is designed to be woven into the fabric. The company plans to integrate technology tracking vital functions directly into clothing.

Possible functions include measuring blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, as well as blood sugar and oxygen levels. According to the application, smart clothing will be connected to other devices via wireless to control and synchronize data.
