APPLE LAUNCHES APPLICATION CREATION COMPETITION

On the occasion of this year’s annual WWDC conference, Apple invites students to create their own applications.

To participate in the Swift Student Challenge, students must create a program in the Swift programming language developed by Apple. You need to register your project by May 18.

Apple said it “doesn’t need to be an IT professional to test your luck.” Everyone can take part in. Candidates are offered to use the Swift Playgrounds app, available on the iPad, which teaches coding through a special interface.

Applications will be judged on relevance and creativity, and 350 winners will be selected after June 22 – during the annual conference for WWDC developers. The winner of the competition will receive a symbolic award – a collector’s jacket in Apple colors.
