APPLE CANCELED WORK IN CHINA THROUGH CORONAVIRUS
Apple Corporation ceases to sell its products in China due to the spread of a new coronavirus.
This restriction will be effective until February 10. In particular, the company closes all its corporate offices, stores and contact centers in mainland China. Apple followed the example of other Western retailers, such as McDonalds and Starbucks, which temporarily closed their stores in China.
China is Apple’s third largest consumer market and the place for most of the company’s supply chain. Many vendors are based near Wuhan, where the coronavirus outbreak began, killing 259 people. Currently, nearly 12,000 people are infected.
