IKEA, along with Apple, is working on a mobile app for iOS devices, which allows you to see how furniture looks at home before buying.

The AR-application will be the first to try in the complementary reality of furniture placement in the apartment on the iPhone and iPad. Later in the app, you can order furniture.
Apple’s interest in this project is due to the desire to unveil the capabilities of the ARKit technology presented in iOS 11.

In the initial collection there will be 500-600 elements of furniture for the fitting. In the future, after the release of new samples, other models will immediately appear in the supplement of the complement of reality.

The app will come out in the fall of 2017 with the release of iOS 11.
