AMERICAN START-UP OF PIZZA PRODUCTION ATTRACTED $48 MILLION
California delivery service Zume Pizza, which uses the production of robots, has attracted $ 48 million. This is $ 2 million less than planned to build the company.
Zume Pizza uses robots for routine tasks – for example, cars smear the dough sauce and put pizza in the oven. People are also involved in cooking, as well as developing and modifying recipes based on user feedback.
Zume Pizza works from April 1, 2016. The company explains that reducing the number of employees in the kitchen helps to invest money in the purchase of products of better quality. In December 2016, after an investment round of $ 23 million, the company valued at $ 50 million.
