AIR TAXES TESTED IN GERMANY
In Stuttgart, Germany, was demonstration flight of a cyclo-taxi.
A four-seater “car of the future” flew near the Mercedes-Benz Museum for four minutes. The taxi was driven by a pilot who was on the ground, but in the future, they plan to switch the car from manual to autonomous. There were no passengers in the cabin.
The chairman of the board of Daimler auto group Ola Cullenius, who was present at the presentation, said that such trainers will help to solve the problem of traffic jams.
And Volocopter CEO Florian Reuter expects to get permission to use the fiber train as a taxi in two to three years.
