Panasonic presented at the IFA 2017, which takes place in Berlin these days, a very interesting novelty – a robotic fridge.

The car aggregate is able to respond to voice commands. A dweller, for example, will be able to call the refrigerator to himself, take the necessary food or beverage and send the device back to the stationary position.

The novelty is endowed with a set of sensors that help in the movement to avoid collisions with interior items or run into unexpected obstacles, for example, in pets.

While the robot fridge exists only as a prototype. Panasonic is currently considering various versions of the unit. In particular, one of the options may be the integration of the heating panel into the upper part of the housing for rapid heating of food.

There are no news about the timing of receipt of the new items in sale.
