THE LABORATORY IN THE FACULTY OF RADIOPHYSICS IS TRANSFERED IN FREE STUDENTS’ COWORKING
The premises were renovated, furniture and equipment purchased. Students will be free to study and conduct educational activities in it. The new space will open on September 5th.
Several years ago at the LUN.ua home for three co-founders, the Faculty of Cybernetics of the KNU had already implemented a similar project. Then the company helped to upgrade the reading room, which became the “Chitalka” space. In an updated place, students began to sit down for education, to organize hackathons and lectures.
In March, a draft of a new space has already been developed, and repair started in April. The area of the old laboratory was about 70 square meters. Thanks to the high ceilings, it was able to expand, partially adding the second floor. LUN.ua has allocated about 500 000 UAH to the project.
The newly renovated premises consist of two zones, where about 25 students can sit at a time. During the lecture, the main hall can accommodate about 50 people. The space was equipped with necessary furniture, Wi-Fi, plenty of electric and Ethernet sockets, audio system and projector.
