MICROSOFT PAINT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN WINDOWS STORE
A popular paint application will continue to exist in the Windows Store. On the Microsoft Support page, the Paint application is outdated. This means that the company will not be engaged in the development of the program and can remove it in future versions of Windows. After some time it became clear that Paint will be available in the Windows Store, and its functionality will be integrated into Paint 3D.
General Manager Megan Saunders told, that the company was surprised by the huge amount of nostalgic messages from users. MS Paint will remain, it will simply be available for free in the Windows Store.
Paint was introduced in 1985 as part of Windows 1.0. For a long time, the company has not changed the concept and design of the program. In 2016 Paint 3D was introduced. The editor has received many innovations and a redesigned interface.
