MICROSOFT REPRESENTED “SMART” THERMOSTAT ON THE BASIS OF CORTANA
Microsoft has released a video presentation of the GLAS thermostat, which has Cortana voice assistant.
With GLAS you can check the temperature, air quality, energy consumption in the apartment and information about the scheduled meetings in the user’s calendar. The device can be activated by voice.
The description of the video says that the device is running on the basis of the Windows kernel for the Internet of Things, Cortana and the “cloud” Azure storage.
GLAS has created an American manufacturer of thermostats and other devices for the Johnson Controls home along with Microsoft. Partners do not report when the thermostat will appear on the market and how much it will cost.
