At the annual opening ceremony, Queen Elizabeth II announced about the intention of Britain to invest in unmanned technology and environmentally friendly transport more than $ 1 billion (£ 800 million). According to the queen, the country should become a leader in the field of electric vehicles, where they plan to send most of the money.

The Government of the United Kingdom has set itself the goal of extending compulsory car insurance on electric vehicles, and setting standards for zero carbon emissions in the transport sector by 2050. Also, a single standard for charging stations for electric cars must be developed, which must be installed at large gas stations and service stations.

By estimates of the British government, by 2035, the share of the economy in relation to low carbon and unmanned technology could reach 28 billion pounds sterling (more than $ 35 billion).
