ADOBE DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY FOR FAST TRANSFER STYLE FROM ONE PHOTO TO ANOTHER

17 (2) 37

Adobe and development team of scientists at Cornell University created a technology that allows you to transfer photo’s style one to another. The system is similar to popular applications Prisma, which allows the use of filters based on the works of famous artists. However, the new development does not use pre-made styles, it simulates colors and lighting of the original image and can consider, which the objects are represented in the photos.

For example, with solar photo urban landscape you can make the picture look as if it was made in the dark. It’s enough to give the system another photo that made in the evening.

The algorithm good because in seconds it can make intelligent adjustments – such as adding effects of light on the window of a skyscraper. This technology helps to avoid problems such as carrying clouds from the original image to the target picture.

The researchers used deep learning system to capture colors and lighting units in the original picture.

Perhaps in the near future support the technology will appear  in commercial editors Adobe.
