Systems of artifical intelligence DeepMind of Google, was developed jointly with the research department at Oxford University, won people in the ability to read lips.

In reading specialists coefficient of accuracy is  12.4%, while machinery – 46.8%. It is noted that the system makes little mistakes, but they do not affect the perception of the text. During training DeepMind was demonstrated  5,000 hours of video in English, which contains 118 thousand sentences.

Scientists believe that the system can be used as virtual assistants in mobile devices. It also can help people with hearing problems understand others.
