Samsung has developed a new generation of displays for TVs using the technology of holographic imaging. The first generation 3D-TV users met without much enthusiasm, because all models require the use of 3D-glasses to view. Unlike predecessors, the new TV sets are created by new technology and do not require any additional accessories to show three-dimensional image.

It should be noted that other companies are also working on similar technology. For example, there was a project Apple i3D, which used iPad to display three-dimensional images using tracking user movements, but the project did not become popular.
