Association «IT Ukraine” launched portal ChooseIT, which contains data on leading IT-departments of state universities of the country. Now online presents data on more than 160 departments in Ukraine. The purpose of the site is to provide applicants as quickly as possible to choose the university where they want to study IT. Information about the department is available online in a uniform format, making it easy to evaluate the department. Using the portal entrants will find out which methods of preparation using one or another department, and which programming languages, application technology and software will be studied. Prospective students will be able to read the data on human resources training unit and its international activities. In addition, the portal enables to see that the company systematically engage graduates and evaluate the quality of employment. The project is non-commercial. With it, the organizers hope to increase the quality of IT education by increasing the level of transparent competition between universities.
