A team of developers from an Indian university showed a prototype robot that can climb trees and collect coconuts.

The developers have been working for the third year on a robot that can be assembled on a tree in just 15 minutes. The robot itself can be controlled from the ground thanks to joysticks or a smartphone app. In particular, it is about regulating the movement of the robot up or down and its rotation around the tree.

According to experiments, the robot has already successfully climbed to a height of 15.2 meters.
