LG INTRODUCED OLED 8K TVS
LG Electronics has announced a line of OLED TVs with a resolution of 8K.
The developer says that this is a line for “avid gamers”. The announcement of the TVs coincided with the debut of the newest Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series video cards and declared their support as one of the advantages. The TVs are based on the Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor with elements of artificial intelligence, which is able to provide full support for 8K in games – at a speed of 60 fps, with a bandwidth of 48 Gbps.
The novelty supports HDMI 2.1, as VRR (Variable refresh rate, variable refresh rate), ultra-fast response speed and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode, automatic low latency mode). Also supported by Nvidia G-Sync, the TVs will be able to interact with systems with GeForce RTX 20 and GTX 16 video cards.
The price of the novelty is currently unknown.
