APPLE PATENTED VISION CORRECTION SYSTEM FOR MIXED REALITY DEVICES
Apple has patented a device that adjusts images in a mixed reality system to suit the user’s vision.
The patented system is able to adjust the image for people with vision problems such as astigmatism, myopia, and hyperopia. This way, they won’t need to wear lenses or glasses when using Apple’s mixed-reality devices.
The system itself is a device that is worn on the head. It can be in the form of a helmet or even a pair of glasses. It has a built-in sensor that measures the characteristics of the user’s eye, and, according to the data obtained, the system projects an adjusted image.
